Who we can help
The main aim of the charity is to help individuals into full time employment which we believe would make a huge difference to their quality of life and give them a definite purpose and structure.
We therefore have funds available for anything which we believe would help individuals to achieve this aim. This can vary between actually paying a wage for a short period of time to encourage employers to take someone on to helping with any costs associated with taking up employment.
We also aim to improve quality of life generally, so in certain circumstances such as hardship we may be able to assist with other costs such as household appliances or other costs which individuals may be struggling to meet whilst trying to give themselves some independence.
If you or someone you know who is diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome could benefit from this please feel free to fill in an application form and forward it to the trustees of the charity. They will give you a decision as soon as possible. You will see on the application form that we do require confirmation from a doctor of the individuals condition as the aim is to aid those diagnosed with Asperger’s and help them into employment and give them their independence.
We will endeavour to work together to help adults with Asperger’s Syndrome to achieve their ambitions in the workplace. We know they are capable, and in the right circumstances and environment they can prove how worthy they are by being given the opportunity to find their goal in life.
